We’re recruiting a part-time Communications & Marketing Administrator (14 hours a week). This is an exciting opportunity to join us and support with content creation, social media, website management, marketing, sharing our research and resources, and general administrative tasks.

We’re looking for someone with:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience in writing for different audiences, including on social media.
  • Experience with a website CMS system, with experience of design software and email marketing a bonus.
  • Administrative experience, analytical skills, and great attention to detail.
  • Creativity and a passion for comms and marketing.

The stated salary will be pro-rata to 0.4 equivalent.

Responsibilities

The key responsibilities of the Communications & Marketing Administrator will include supporting with creating and disseminating our key messages, content, materials and research across different internal and external channels, gathering data to use in our communications and marketing and identifying ongoing opportunities to promote My Home Life England’s work.

They will also support the successful delivery of our training and consultancy projects with care leaders across England, alongside other research and development projects. They may also provide routine administrative support to all members of the team and undertake specific tasks as required.

Person Specification

The successful candidate will have

  • Well developed communication skills and a creative mindset.
  • Experience in writing for different external audiences as well as engagement with social media
  • Experience of using a CMS system, with experience of design software and email marketing platforms desirable.
  • Administrative experience in an office environment, liaising with a range of internal and external stakeholders to reach a goal.
  • General confidence in the use of IT systems, as well as good numeracy skills and a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Time management and prioritisation skills
  • Well developed listening skills, an enquiring mind enabling them identify, interpret and analyse potential problems and the ability to empathise with individuals whilst always maintaining a professional boundary
