Functions include:
- Providing mobile phones to end users within the SLA’s that are agreed with the business. This includes updating all systems with the asset data and ensuring all records are up to date
- Providing day to day request fulfilment and troubleshooting activities and incident related to mobility devices, working of the incidents and requests queues.
- Ordering and managing the stock of mobile phones
- Completing BAU requests from the UK business coming from our global ticketing system, ServiceNow
- Assisting with the leavers process of Smartphones & Tablets
- Assisting with the recycle and disposal of Smartphones & Tablets
- Add new users, perform sim swaps, and ensure the telecoms records are up to date with customer’s designated telecoms provider
- Reach out to the telecoms provider if there are connection issues
- Work with Mobile Provisioning Lead to provide updates to the mobile phone roadmap based on changes required by the EMEA Head of Technology Operations and changes with preferred device manufacturers
- Updating the UK Telecoms policy based on changes approved by the EMEA Head of Technology Operations. As part of this role, the individual might need to make recommendations around the UK policy
- Ordering laptops, desktops and devices based on the preferred contracts that has in place. Responsible for ensuring supplier portals are up to date
- Responsible for ordering accessories and other end user computing technology
- Working with Telecoms Expense Management company to add new users and to ensure reporting are up to date
- Supporting end users and adding ‘Rest of the World tariffs and other bundles as applicable
- Ordering computing accessories for approved end users
- Arrange repairs of faulty handsets for UK based staff
- Answer business related queries relating to telecoms
- Answer queries from Finance & Procurement teams related to Service Credits held by our preferred mobile network provider.
- Knowledge of Apple iOS, Apple Business Manager & Microsoft Intune
