Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Desktop Support Technician to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional technical support to end-users, ensuring that all desktop systems and applications operate smoothly. This role requires a strong understanding of computer hardware, software troubleshooting, and operating systems, as well as the ability to analyse and resolve technical issues efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Provide first-line help desk support for users experiencing technical issues with hardware and software.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve problems related to operating systems, applications, and network connectivity.
  • Provide customer-focused Desktop Support services across multiple site locations
  • Provide IT support for meeting rooms
  • Assist in the configuration, installation, and maintenance of computer hardware and peripherals.
  • Collaborate with other IT team members to enhance overall system performance and user satisfaction.

Experience

  • Windows 10, PC hardware, software and networking.
  • G-Suite and MS Office 365 applications for Corporate use
  • Mac OS and Apple hardware and applications.
  • AV meeting room systems and printers
  • Configuring and supporting IOS and Android devices.
  • Patching Windows/Mac OS using VMware/SCCM/JAMF
  • Experience of working in ITIL environments
