What You’ll be doing:
Within our Business Support remit, we have a current requirement for a Desktop Support engineer to provide IT, Multimedia technology and Android phone support to all KBS Maritime IT users, as part of our linear IM&T function. Ensuring all KBS Maritime sites are well maintained, managed, documented, and fit for purpose, you’ll be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with all operational leads ensuring a partnership between operations and technology.
Assisting with all onsite support covering Infrastructure and Applications across multiple sites, your primary focus will be on ensuring all issues are resolved at site level. Additionally, you’ll ensure any 3rd level support requests are documented to prevent a repeat escalation to 3rd line, update variable asset information and ensure requests and incidents are documented in a timely manner.
You’ll Have:
Ideally, you’ll have exposure to Windows 10, Office 365 Administration, Azure Active Directory, Azure Cloud Technologies and Dell Hardware. In addition, you’ll have proven experience within a similar role, and have an adaptive approach to an ever evolving support area.
