We have an exciting opportunity where you could be a part of our incredible team.
In this role you will be
- Supporting the Head of FP&A coordinating the business P&Ls for UK Wholesale and Ireland, providing the necessary information to the Senior Leadership team to ensure company objectives are achieved, identifying areas of risk and implementation of plans to mitigate
- Contributing to the long-term financial planning cycle for the business
- An integral part in managing and improving the financial business planning process, including budget planning and latest estimate forecasting
- Challenging and influencing the Finance Leadership team on overall profitability of the plans
Key Responsibilities include:
- P&L Management/Month End & Reporting
- Production of Company P&L, monthly reporting of key figures to Head Office and coordinating writing and submission of monthly CEO comment
- Ensure regular monthly reviews of business performance take place across all divisions (Wholesale and Ireland) with P&L owners
- Channel P&L responsibility e.g. Wholesale and Ireland
- Review of Brand P&L created by the FP&A Analyst
- Lindt Business Planning (LBP)
- Support the Head of FP&A to take full ownership of the financial assumptions of the Integrated Reconciliation (IR) process surrounding the top down forecasting of NTS & Cost of Goods (COGS) with a 24 month view of the business
- Coordinate with the Commercial Finance and Accounting team to ensure the best assumptions are used for longer term planning, challenge where appropriate
- Review the planning tool in order to run the LBP process effectively
- Provide clear assumptions and guidance to both accounting and commercial finance team in order for accurate planning of the LLE, Budget and LEs
- Other Long Term Planning
- Support the Head of FP&A in planning, co-ordinating and providing insight for key business processes including the Mid Term plan, GPD, Budget and Latest Estimates, as well as coordinating monthly latest forecasts
- Provide long term strategic plan support
- Insights & Financial Objective Delivery
- Regular tracking of business KPI’s, reporting back to the business, forecasting future P&Ls (GtN and OPEX), providing insights on gaps or over-deliveries.
- Working with the RGM team to lead the Net Net Price assumptions across the business, working closely with the commercial finance team for customer specific assumptions especially Gross to Net and Direct Customer Contribution
- Projects
- Ad-hoc support for projects that impact portfolio of products
What experience you’ll bring
- Ability to apply significant professional judgment, manages teams and supports strategic decision making. Role is guided by broad practices and procedures and is required to translate the strategic plan into deliverable and budgeted plans.
- Be CIMA, ACCA or ACA qualified or equivalent
- Have extensive experience and a broad knowledge of the techniques and practices of Finance
- Demonstrate leadership qualities – able to energise and influence others
- Have strong communication and networking skills
- Be performance driven, tenacious and goal orientated
- Be an innovative problem solver and a facilitator of change
- Be a strategic thinker, with a wide knowledge of the confectionary industry and its competitors
- Be able to work cross functionally both internally and externally
