Marketing co-ordinator
at Q5 London in London (Published at 15-10-2024)
We are award-winning experts in organisation change, helping to build better businesses across the world. Q5 was set up to be nimble enough to work across different sectors and locations, and create results based on the specific needs of our clients. We are looking for someone to join our Marketing Team, in either our London or Leeds office, to focus on these areas:
- Event Management: Lead the comprehensive coordination of Q5 UK events, from concept through to execution, ensuring high-quality delivery of events from intimate bespoke roundtables and client dinners to large-scale industry and networking events. This includes concept planning, logistics management, design, promotion, Hubspot management, analytics and on-the-day support.
- Marketing Strategy Development: Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to develop and implement tailored marketing strategies for various Q5 sectors and regions. Serve as the primary point of contact for marketing support, providing expertise and insights to enhance the effectiveness of marketing initiatives across events, social media, thought leadership, award submissions, and business development materials.
- Content Management: Oversee the creation and distribution of key thought leadership content across the business. This includes managing the production of the quarterly newsletter and ensuring timely updates of news and insights on the website to maintain a consistent and engaging brand presence.
- Award Submissions: Lead the end-to-end management of award submissions, including project management, copywriting, and quality assurance. Identify key industry awards for Q5 to target, ensuring submissions are strategically aligned with the company's strengths and values.
- CRM Leadership: Oversee and maintain the CRM system to ensure the accuracy, segmentation, and integrity of the marketing contact database, optimising it for targeted campaigns and personalised customer engagement strategies.
- Campaign Development: Play a pivotal role in the development of core "hero" campaigns throughout the year in collaboration with the marketing team, while also independently leading and executing "secondary" campaigns from concept to completion.
- Ad Hoc Marketing Support: Provide versatile marketing support, such as video and podcast creation, design asset development, and other initiatives as needed working with our external agencies. Proactively identify opportunities to address client challenges through innovative marketing ideas that resonate with our target audiences.
- Foundation support. Providing practical marketing support to the Q5 Foundation for reaching out initiatives as outlined above, in addition to the commercial marketing reaching out activities.
Requirements
The ideal candidate could be a recent graduate, or have some experience in a similar role. Our requirements are:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and external partners. Ability to serve as a trusted marketing advisor within the organisation.
- Strong analytical skills and a creative mindset, with the ability to identify opportunities, address challenges, and develop innovative marketing solutions that align with business objectives.
- A strong desire to learn and grow within the role, with a proactive attitude towards developing new skills and knowledge in marketing, event management, and content creation.
- Familiarity with basic digital tools and platforms such as Microsoft Office, social media, email marketing and event platforms, with a willingness to learn new software such as Hubspot and systems as required.
