Our Digital Strategy is being delivered with a series of projects that will modernise our IT infrastructure and look to the future using AI and Automation.
We are bringing together professionals and teams that support ICT and Digital from across the organisation, to further develop skills in line with the SIAM model of delivery.
Job Role
With this in mind, we are seeking to appoint an outstanding leader for the Applications teams that support our Neighbourhoods Service. We are looking for an individual who possesses strategic and operational leadership skills and experience to support the team leaders and team members to deliver an innovative problem-solving service that supports front-line critical services.
The service supports the Neighbourhoods Services Directorate by maintaining their Line of Business Applications and providing a support service to ensure the applications are enablers to business change and service improvement. You will be responsible for the teams that currently support the following line of business applications.
- OHMS/NEC Housing,
- Info@Work (DM Housing),
- Confirm (Housing),
- APP (Flare) Housing,
- Abritas,
- Total Mobile
The Place Systems Review project is in the process of replacing our main housing system (OHMS) with NEC Housing and we are looking for someone with experience of getting the most out of systems. You will be an innovative and practical thinker, able to understand front-line services and their relationship with ICT and Applications and champion how technology can support positive change for the people of Sheffield.
An ideal candidate would understand how ICT and Digital can support evidence based, strategic decision making in front line services and have experience delivering large scale organisation change projects from start to end.
You will be joining a dynamic forward-thinking service at an exciting time of change and be supported by both a wide ICT senior management team and skilled operational management team.
