The UK Field Marketing Director will play a pivotal role in driving marketing success within JLL UK. Reporting directly to the UK Head of Marketing and sitting on the UK marketing leadership team, this individual will collaborate closely with the UK client and markets group to gain a comprehensive understanding of One JLL UK priorities and convert them into effective marketing strategies.
The UK Field Marketing Director will ensure seamless alignment with the UK business line and growth marketing teams, providing valuable inputs for business line campaigns and developing and executing tailored marketing programs to support priorities specific to the UK.
They will also work with both the global and UK research teams to embed research into campaign programs and ensure research is taken to market in an innovative and effective way. They will assist the Head of UK Marketing in marketing strategy, annual planning and budget management and be a key conduit into marketing for the UK business.
What you will do: Strategy Alignment: Work closely with the UK client and markets group to identify and comprehend One JLL UK priorities. Translate these priorities into focused marketing strategies and initiatives.
Business Line Collaboration: Collaborate proactively with business line and growth marketing teams, providing strategic guidance and inputs to enhance the effectiveness of business line campaigns.
Bespoke Marketing Programs: Take ownership of defining and executing bespoke marketing programs to support specific business lines or targeted campaigns.
Budget Management: Lead on UK budget management, ensuring appropriate utilisation phasing and alignment to global budgeting processes.
Reporting: Prepare regular reports on marketing activities, metrics, and outcomes, providing valuable insights to the UK Head of Marketing and other stakeholders.
Stakeholder Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key internal stakeholders, aligning marketing objectives and ensuring stakeholders are kept informed of progress and initiatives.
Global Collaboration: Coordinate with global colleagues, sharing best practices and aligning on global governance to ensure consistency and leverage global resources and initiatives.
Offshore Marketing Support: Collaborate with off-shore marketing support teams, managing and directing their activities, and ensuring effective delivery of projects.
Research Integration: Collaborate closely with both the global and UK research teams to ensure that research insights are effectively incorporated into the overall campaign programs. Work closely with researchers to understand their findings and craft innovative and data-driven marketing strategies.
Innovation and Effectiveness: Drive the adoption of innovative marketing techniques and best practices within the field marketing function. Continuously evaluate the effectiveness of marketing initiatives and campaigns, identifying areas for improvement and implementing appropriate strategies to enhance results.
Market Alignment: Stay up-to-date with market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to inform marketing strategies and ensure campaigns are market-aligned. Leverage research insights to develop creative and impactful campaigns that resonate with target audiences.
Line manage the UK Senior Events Manager to ensure alignment of the UK events program with business line campaigns and the overall UK strategy, fostering collaboration.
Required and Preffered Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field preferred but not required.
Minimum of 8 years of experience in marketing, with a focus on field marketing and campaign management.
Proven experience in driving marketing strategy and successfully executing marketing campaigns.
Strong budget management skills, with a demonstrated ability to optimise resources and deliver results within budget constraints.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to build and nurture relationships at various organizational levels.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
Strong analytical and reporting skills, with the ability to use data to drive decision-making.
Knowledge of the real estate or commercial property industry is desirable.
Proficiency in using marketing automation platforms and CRM systems.
