We are looking for a Senior IT Manager to play a proactive part in the strategic planning, development and support of all IT Solutions and Services within our business.
The role holder will also be responsible for ensuring that the departmental staffing structure, policies, procedures, and systems are aligned to, and managed in line with Kura’s Strategy.
- Lead, motivate and inspire the IT department and wider business by developing and delivering an IT strategy that delivers innovation, enabling the wider business to become leaner through the effective use of existing and emerging Business Technology and Infrastructure.
- Be accountable for the successful provision of all IT services, delivered either internally or externally, as required by the business.
- Ensure that day to day delivery of technical solutions across the business is optimised to ensure Kura is the Outsource Partner of Choice.
- To manage and maintain the Kura Infrastructure environment in conjunction with in-house resources and 3rd party suppliers.
- To manage and maintain the Kura desktop estate and deliver operational enablement utilising in-house resources.
- To manage highlighted security alerts and provide a robust and proactive level of service for all stakeholders.
- To manage and improve the overall Kura Infrastructure estate as defined by strategic parameters, focusing on consolidation, efficiency and capability enablement.
- Management and maintenance of the Kura systems architecture and infrastructure, both physical and virtual; establishing set procedures and policies for day-to-day administration of the infrastructure, proactive administration and monitoring of servers, network hardware and internet infrastructure and provision of high-level (third-line) support on network, server and internet devices and systems.
- Establishing strong partnerships with key client contacts to devise on-going technical strategy.

Requirements
- Degree in IT related subject
- Minimum 7 years’ experience at least 4 of which must have involved managing people
