Now let us tell you about the role:

Our IT department is currently seeking a IT Help Desk Engineer to join our support team. This role is crucial in ensuring that our day-to-day operations run smoothly, and our staff receive timely assistance with their IT-related needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide first line support for all internal staff, addressing issues related to PCs, printers, and phones.
  • Log, prioritise, and manage support tickets to ensure timely resolution.
  • Assist in the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of hardware and software.
  • Work closely with other IT teams to escalate and resolve complex issues.
  • Offer guidance to end-users to foster understanding and optimal use of our IT resources.

Required Skills & Knowledge:

  • Familiarity with common operating systems and office software.
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts.
  • Experience with Intune and Active Directory (AD) would be a significant advantage.
  • Excellent communication and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
