Marketing Operations Lead

Save the Children UK has an exciting opportunity for a collaborative and strategic, forward-thinking leader with a passion for marketing and operations to join us as our Marketing Operations Lead. You will bring a deep understanding of how to drive transformation, particularly through digital, data, and technology, while working collaboratively with teams across all levels of the organization.
Please note that the majority of our roles can be performed remotely in the UK, However, this role will require the post holder to work from our London, Farringdon office 1 day a week.

About you:
As our Marketing Operations Lead, you will be at the forefront of our efforts to transform marketing operations. You will lead the charge in streamlining our processes, driving operational efficiency, and maximizing income, while ensuring that supporter experience and agility are at the heart of everything we do.
Utilising cutting-edge digital tools, data, and technology, you will design and implement a future-focused Marketing Operations Framework that will enhance the lifetime value of our supporters. You will be working in close collaboration with teams across Fundraising & Marketing and Data, Digital & Technology to co-create and implement new strategies that will drive sustainable growth.
In this role, you will:
- Lead cross-functional teams to develop and implement a future Marketing Operations Framework that drives operational efficiency, increased income, and supporter value.
- Design and execute core marketing processes and systems for efficient delivery, including effective collaboration with agencies.
- Leverage technology and data to streamline marketing operations, working closely with internal teams and senior stakeholders.
- Embed agile and audience-centric approaches into marketing operations, ensuring responsiveness to new opportunities.
- Identify and lead key transformation initiatives, setting Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) aligned with broader business goals.
- Research and present growth strategies, competitive analysis, and strategic recommendations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Lead change management efforts to ensure successful adoption of new technologies, processes, and organizational changes.
- Utilise data analytics and market insights to inform operational strategies.
- Manage risks, ensuring compliance with legal, data protection, and regulatory requirements.
To be successful, it is important that you have:
- Extensive experience in leading transformational and operational improvement initiatives, leveraging digital and data-driven technologies.
- Proven leadership in matrixed or multi-disciplinary team environments, with strong influencing and collaboration skills.
- Expertise in marketing operations with a supporter-centric focus.
- Exceptional strategic thinking, project management, and organizational skills.
- Strong understanding of agile principles and their impact on delivering business value.
- Ability to manage multiple initiatives and priorities simultaneously.

Ways of Working:
Please note that the majority of our roles can be performed remotely in the UK, However, this role will require the post holder to work from our London, Farringdon office 1 day a week. This will be agreed with your Line Manager and team and is intended to be time spent on collaborating with colleagues and relationship building. Please note: travel costs to your contracted office will be at your own expense.Flexible Working - We are happy to discuss flexible working options at interview.
