We’re excited to recruit for this newly created role of IT Security Analyst at Golding where you will be instrumental in protecting Golding Homes’ information systems and data.
What you'll be doing
Playing a key role in the Service and Infrastructure team, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining security measures, monitoring for security breaches, and responding to incidents. The IT Security Analyst will ensure compliance with security policies and regulations, working closely with the Service and Infrastructure Manager, Infrastructure Analysts, and IT Service Delivery Analysts to create a secure IT environment that supports our operational needs.
More about you. What can you bring?
We are looking for a Security Analyst with:
A bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
Professional certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CISSP, CISM, or similar.
Experience with security compliance frameworks such as GDPR, ISO 27001, or NIST
Proven experience in IT security analysis
Experience with security tools such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, antivirus software, and encryption
Experience with SOC implementation and management
An excellent problem solver, you will have strong knowledge of security principles, practices, and technologies and have the ability to respond effectively to security incidents. Effective communication and interpersonal skills are also essential.
Additional information
Attendance at our office in Maidstone is required along with flexibility to work outside normal office hours in response to critical incidents or planned maintenance activities.
When and where you'll be doing it
You will enjoy a 37-hour working week and earn an annual salary of circa £45,000.
