Global Expatriate Tax Manager

- Handling the firm’s compliance with tax laws and regulations regarding expatriate taxes and relocation expenses
- Managing third-party vendor relationships with the firm’s tax provider, including but not limited to hypo tax calculations, individual tax compliance, and tax settlement calculations
- Preparing tax and social security cost projections and using these to help the firm identify appropriate structures for international moves
- Liaising with tax authorities and tax providers on matters such as expatriate compliance reviews and audits into tax returns and notices issued
- Working with the Director of Tax & Global Mobility to manage tax risks and provide cross-border tax, social security, and payroll advice regarding requests received about remote working
We’d love to hear from you if you:
- Demonstrate the ability handle confidential and sensitive information with the appropriate discretion
- Possess excellent project management skills (i.e., organising, planning, problem-solving, and decision-making)
- Exhibit well-developed and professional interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with people at all organisational levels of the firm
And have:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or Law
- A CPA, Chartered Accountant, or an equivalent certification, preferably
- Relevant expatriate tax experience in public accounting or professional services, including expatriate tax compliance and relevant experience with tax in the EMEA region
- Experience of US and Asian expat tax, preferably
