Junior Financial Accountant – London

We are looking to hire a junior finance professional to fill the position of Banking Support at our London office. The successful candidate will report to the Business Group Accountant and be part of a team responsible for supporting the bank's main business line of M&A advisory. The successful applicant will also assist the team with London management and backlog reporting.

We’ll trust you to:
  • Take control of client invoicing process including maintaining the general ledger.
  • Control and reconciliation of client recoverable expenses.
  • Prepare the monthly management information.
  • Prepare the monthly group reporting information and reconciliations.
  • Ensure consistency between the general ledger and business reporting systems.
  • Account for cash receipts and maintain debtors ledger.
  • Carry out Ad hoc requests and project work when required.

You’ll need to have:

  • Trainee accountant experience with strong analytical skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • The ability to prioritise, meet tight deadlines and work under pressure
  • The ability to maintain high standards of professional and ethical conduct
  • Accuracy and a high attention to detail
  • A high level of self-motivation, autonomy, and initiative
  • PC literate skills with extensive familiarity of Microsoft Excel
  • Experience of multi-currency accounting and consolidations
  • Experience of the SAP general ledger system and Analysis for Office (AFO)
