Summary
Our company is hiring an Associate Director of Brand to lead the development and execution of our content strategy, focusing on enhancing brand awareness, engagement, and driving growth through organic and paid channels. This person will direct and own content research and performance across social media and paid advertisements. They will ensure the brand’s voice and identity are consistently represented while driving measurable and meaningful results.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in organic growth, campaign strategy, and a love for data analysis. They should be a creative, strategic thinker who thrives on developing innovative content approaches while being hands-on in leading their team. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of a comprehensive content strategy to increase brand awareness and engagement across multiple channels (social media, website, podcasts, etc.)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align content initiatives with overall business objectives, ensuring content supports lead generation, brand building, and customer engagement.
- Develop and optimize organic strategies to drive search performance, improving recognition and website traffic.
- Monitor, analyze, and report on performance metrics, identifying trends, gaps, and opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Oversee social media strategy, working closely with the marketing and creative teams to create compelling and engaging content that aligns with brand voice and resonates with our audience.
- Foster partnerships with industry influencers and thought leaders to expand reach and credibility.
- Support business objectives through innovative content campaigns that educate, engage, and build community.
- Stay informed of industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to keep our content strategies ahead of the curve.
- Influence the marketing team to think creatively and strategically about content opportunities.
- Manage content calendars, ensuring timely and consistent delivery of high-quality content.
- Work closely with the leadership team to ensure that all content is aligned with the company’s mission, vision, and values.
RESULTS
- Content strategies are aligned with business goals and consistently deliver measurable results, such as increased traffic, engagement, and conversions.
- Brand awareness and reputation are enhanced through the effective execution of campaigns and initiatives.
- Regular performance reports are provided to senior leadership, along with insights and recommendations for improving content efforts.
- Seamless collaboration between departments ensures that content and brand strategies support broader business initiatives.
- Strategic partnerships with influencers and thought leaders amplify the brand’s presence.
REQUIREMENTS - 5+ years of experience in content marketing and/or brand strategy.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful content strategies across multiple platforms.
- Strong understanding of social media and content marketing for optimal performance on paid channels
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt content to different audiences and platforms while leading a team.
- Analytical mindset with experience using tools like Google Analytics, Tubebuddy, VidIQ, Metricool, Meta Ad Manager, etc.
- Ability to align content strategies with business goals and KPIs.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and team members.
- A creative and strategic thinker with strong attention to detail and excellent project management skills.
