School IT Technician

We are looking for an experienced School IT Technician with varying skill sets ranging from the day-to-day IT support to full project management. The salary & position available is dependent on skill & experience.
- Successful applicants should have a minimum 3 years Professional IT Support experience, ideally working in a UK school.
Main Purpose of Job:
To provide IT Support to customers of CoRE Support Ltd, specifically Schools and Businesses, ensuring systems are maintained and supported to the highest standards. Work will be undertaken in accordance with Service Level Agreements and as required by the Technical Director.
The job will entail visiting customer sites (Schools & Businesses) around the Staffordshire area for regular visits to provide full IT Support.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Repair and Maintenance of Computer Systems including IT equipment. Responsibilities will include assisting in developing new hardware systems, installing software packages, creating and maintaining computer networks (server & client).
Identifying any problems that affect computer operating systems, desktop and server, as well as other peripheral devices such as printers, Interactive Whiteboards, etc...
Skills in IT systems to support then analyse, including strong problem-solving skills, sound technical knowledge and the ability to develop good, interpersonal relationships.
This is a dynamic role and must develop to meet the needs of the business. As such the successful candidate must be flexible with the desire to learn and progress and will be given training in the following skills areas:
- Microsoft Windows 10/11
- Microsoft Windows Server – All Versions
- Microsoft Active Directory
- Microsoft Office (All versions)
- VMware & Hyper-V
- Networking LAN/WAN – TCP/IP
- Peripheral Maintenance
- Project Management
- Line Management skills
- Technical Pre-sales

Pay: £25,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
