Health Care Support Worker Ward 8B - Band 2 Full Time

An opportunity has arisen for more people to join our dynamic team. Ward 8b is a 24 bedded general medical ward caring for all patients with a variety of medical conditions.

Working under delegation and supervision of a registered Nurse, the Health Care Support Worker (HCSW) will undertake defined responsibilities appropriate to their role in the workplace setting. They will comply with Trust policies, protocols, guidelines, the fifteen standards of the Care Certificate and the national strategy of Compassion in Practice and will ensure safe, compassionate and competent care is delivered to our patients and service users at all times.

It is a requirement of United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust that all HCSWs adhere to the Code of Conduct for healthcare support workers and adult social care workers.

All HCSW will be supported in completing the Care Certificate, which can be used to support applications to higher learning (Nurse Associate).
