The role – Integration Engineer

As an Integration Engineer you will take the lead on integration across several applications and platforms, ensuring Origins’ system integrations and data hub are running smoothly. This role is integral to business continuity and the smooth running of day-to-day operations.

What you’ll do

You will

  • Lead and perform hands-on technical implementation, product development, integration and customisation of applications and integrations
  • Quality assure software and integrations to ensure functionality, data integrity and security
  • Provide 3rd line support to end users to resolve issues with applications.
  • Provide technical guidance to the project team and business throughout project implementations to ensure accurate delivery of project plans.
  • Write procedural coding in a range of development languages and relational/post-relational database scripts and procedures

Skills and experience we'd like you to have

We’re looking for someone who has:

  • Extensive experience of Data Warehousing data modelling, data marts and Extract, Transform and Load services
  • Significant experience administering a Housing Management system and/or Microsoft Dynamics product family
  • Databases and SQL at an expert level
  • Transact-SQL and SQL Server Integration Services at expert level
  • Extensive knowledge of integration methods (including XML, SOAP, REST, JSON and webservices)
