We are currently recruiting for a Food & Beverage Marketing Executive to join our Truly Talented team.

The Food & Beverage Marketing Executive will support Axiom Hospitality Head of Marketing & Brand and the Commercial, Food & Beverage, and Hotel Teams in delivering the revenue forecasted for the restaurants and bars in Axiom Hospitality’s portfolio of hotels by implementing a solid proactive marketing strategy.

Working closely with external agencies to activate strategic marketing plans to drive strong ROI and track data analytics to measure performance.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in successful campaigns, and the ability to use performance metrics to inform decisions. They will be able to provide examples of strong campaigns and engagement initiatives and have a thorough understanding of the market, ideally with a strong restaurant and F&B career background. The candidate will demonstrate strong creativity and forward-thinking, and the ability to juggle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities of role will include but are not limited to:

  • Maintaining and optimising all restaurants and bars online listings
  • Proactively identifying new channels and platforms to feature outlets
  • Oversee owned channels functionality and user experience
  • Drive conversions through campaigns and targeted initiatives
  • Managing production and performance of multimedia content
  • Maintaining website and tracking data analytics
  • Managing email marketing platforms
  • Monitoring and allocating digital spend budgets
  • Monitoring performance of marketing campaigns
  • Conducting research and analysing data to identify and define audiences
  • Brief agencies on key needs and focuses of outlets
  • Own and maintain a calendar of key activations per outlet
  • Identify relevant partnership opportunities and manage relationships
  • Prepare monthly reports on Marketing activities with detailed performance statistics
  • Understanding the wider hotel business and keeping up to date with the hotel’s commercial strategy and promotions
  • Understand the overall market - competitors’ strengths and weaknesses, economic trends, supply and demand.

The core skills and experience required to succeed

  • Minimum 3 years Marketing experience in hospitality
  • Restaurant or bar experience preferred
  • Food and beverage background required
  • Demonstrates experience of developing detailed marketing plans and campaigns including project management skills, briefing, planning and execution
  • In-depth understanding of marketing channels and performance metrics
  • Demonstrates a solid understanding of the synergy needed between commercial and operations in the hospitality business
  • Demonstrates a working knowledge of digital marketing techniques, including paid social media, application of social media channels, use of customer communication channels including email and website management. Solid understanding of development for dynamic websites and Content Management Systems
  • Design and creative skills including compelling copywriting
  • Ability to identify specific action steps, accountabilities and timelines for workload including able to hold self-accountable for achieving results
  • Adaptability and ability to juggle multiple projects
  • Gains the confidence and trust of others through their own authenticity, ethical standards and follow-through on commitments
  • Strong organisation and planning skills
  • Acts independently to improve and increase skills and knowledge
