Job Scope and Responsibilities
As EssilorLuxottica continues its success trajectory, further expanding the portfolio of globally recognized luxury eyewear, it is now time to strengthen the brand management team. To have a strong focus on the needs of our brands we are dividing the portfolio in two and creating a new position as Absolute Luxury Business Brand Manager to elevate the strategy within the highest price band segments.
The role leads the North Europe strategy for a portfolio of highly differentiated luxury eyewear brands that are a mix of proprietary and licenses including the Prada Group.
Proprietary : Alain Mikli, Oliver Peoples, Persol Licenses : Brunello Cucinelli, Moncler, Miu Miu, Starck Eyes, Prada, Prada Linea Rossa
North Market Hubs : United Kingdom & Ireland, Nordics, Netherlands, Belgium & Luxembourg.
It requires a deep understanding of markets, clients, and consumers to devise and lead a product’s go-to-market strategy through customer-centric solutions. As the brand’s subject matter expert you will transfer knowledge about markets, trends, and product across the organization focusing on marketing and sales functions.
Success is achieving or exceeding brand sales targets in both volume and value and ensuring campaign execution excellence all delivered within budget and on time.
Areas of Responsibilties and related activities
  • Develop the business and marketing strategy for the wholesale North Europe region in line with the global brand guidelines: working on distribution, facings, assortments, location in store, visibility.
  • Ownership of a 1.7m€ Marketing budget and maintain the invoicing process.
  • Manage the full B2B communication strategy across digital and physical touchpoints.
  • Lead internal communication flow of brand plans, focusing on trade marketing and sales.
  • Monitoring forecast/allocation process for permanent and seasonal marketing tools.
  • Collaborate with the training team to develop, execute, and monitor training plans.
  • Product, market and competition analysis to develop concrete recommendations for action.
  • Build assortment recommendations in collaboration with the Category Management team.
  • Ensuring full understanding of product segmentations throughout the salesforce
  • Collecting and consolidate product feedback for global product teams across all categories.
  • Presentation of new collections to clients and internally to staff.
  • Be the Subject Matter Expert (SME) on all things within the portfolio.
  • Supervise intern when necessary.
Technical Skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English).
  • Excellent computer literacy. Confident handling of Microsoft office.
Candidate Profile
  • Qualification to degree-level ideally within Business/Economics with focus on Marketing.
  • Minimum 7-years professional experience in brand or category management within luxury.
  • Ability in project management / coordination of multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Organization, autonomy & dynamism to drive projects forward with flawless attention to detail.
  • Very good analytical and conceptual skills.
  • Strong communication and presenting skills, capable of adapting to different audiences.
  • Creative, Imaginative, and constantly curious, able to propose new ideas.
  • High affinity to lifestyle brands and enthusiasm for the brands.
  • Being an active team member - creating internal and external business partnerships and actively supporting others.
