Internal Communications Executive

Sky's Internal Communications team plays a crucial role in connecting our people with the company's vision, mission, and strategic priorities. As Internal Communications Executive, you will support the Leadership Communications sub-team in delivering the plans and tactics that will ensure clear, consistent and engaging messaging from senior leadership out to the business. You will play a key role in supporting the delivery of Group and market-specific corporate communications and campaigns.

Our Osterley Campus is a 10-minute walk from Syon Lane train station. Or you can hop on one of our free shuttle buses that run to and from Osterley, Gunnersbury, Ealing Broadway and South Ealing tube stations. There's also plenty of bike shelters and showers.
On campus, you'll find 13 subsidised restaurants, cafes, and a Waitrose. You can keep in shape at our subsidised gym, catch the latest shows and movies at our cinema, get your car washed and even get pampered at our beauty salon.

What you'll do:
- Assist in creating and delivering internal communications from the executive leadership team to an internal audience, including drafting intranet articles, Viva Engage posts, emails, and video briefs
- Support with the coordination of company events, leadership offsites, Q&A sessions, launches and other internal events that connect leadership with employees
- Gather employee feedback through surveys and metrics, and provide insights to improve communication strategies and initiatives
- Help with coordination, organisation and administration when leaders engage with internal audiences though various channels, including events, videos, and Town Halls
- Take responsibility for ensuring leadership information and cascade documents are accurate, up-to-date, and easily accessible to leaders
- Work with Corporate Communications, Events, Design, and our European Comms teams to ensure consistent messaging across internal and external communication channels
- Understanding of Communications subject areas including planning, delivery, events, activations and digital engagement
- Experience of working in Communications or Marketing
- Ability to work cross-departmentally with strong relationship building skills
- A natural great teammate with good communication skills and the ability to work easily with others
- Strong MS Office and writing skills, with the ability to craft messages in an engaging and accurate way
- The desire and ability to work and deliver at pace in a fast-moving, exciting environment
- Operational and administrative skills and interest to support the smooth running of the work and department
- Due to the nature of working with the senior exec team, the role is Osterley-based
- Three days a week in the office policy, including Mondays and Wednesdays as these are the departmental and team days. The third days is of your choosing
