IT Helpdesk Apprentice - fixed term up to 24 months Full Time

Are you passionate about IT and love working with people? Yeovil College has an exciting opportunity for a personable and customer-focused Apprentice to join our team!

As an Apprentice, you’ll be the friendly first point of contact for customers with IT issues, helping them find solutions through our helpdesk or directly with the IT Services Administrator. You’ll play a key role in delivering excellent customer service while gaining hands-on experience. With guidance from our advanced tier team, you’ll develop your skills in a supportive and engaging environment, ensuring both technical growth and strong communication with customers.

What we're looking for:

· Knowledge of configuring and troubleshooting Windows desktop PC’s.

· Strong customer service skills.

· Confident to engage with our internal and external customers to resolve issues.

· GCSE Grade A-C in Maths & English or equivalent

· ICT qualification at grade 4 or above.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

· Methodical, accurate, with strong attention to detail.

· Able to plan and prioritise workloads in a fast paced environment.
