About the Business
An award winning and established Managed Service Provider in Bristol. Their mission is to support businesses by simplifying their IT and providing the right solutions to reach their full potential. They work with exciting companies in Bristol and the UK.
They believe at the core of every successful business, are the People. They have a strong ethos of personal development which is why they take part in apprenticeship programs as well as support their employees with in-house and external training. They value opinions, that is why they listen to their people. They also protect the planet with their green initiatives (B Corp assessment in process).
We’re looking for a new Geek to join the team.
You will be working in a small and hands-on team, so you should be comfortable working with a high degree of autonomy (don’t worry though, support will be available as and when you need it). The ideal candidate is organised, self-motivated, and looking for a role they can grow into.
The technicians are the main point of contact between the business and clients, so it is essential they are effective and confident communicators and enjoy working with people as much (or almost as much) as they enjoy working with computers.
We expect the technicians to hit the ground jogging, if not running, so the successful candidate will probably have at least 2 years MSP experience, providing 2nd Line IT Support in a business environment.
We’ve put 2 years’ experience as we believe those that are self-starters and passionate about technology may have less experience, but the knowledge required to succeed in this role.
Ideally, the successful candidate will be able to demonstrate their ability to learn quickly, to follow processes, and to document their work.
