Job Overview
We are seeking an IT Business Analyst for Zavaitar Limited, in Zavaitar you will bridge the gap between business needs and technology solutions. You'll work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze processes, and ensure that technical solutions meet business goals. You will also assist in identifying areas for process improvement, creating detailed documentation, and supporting project implementation to drive business efficiency.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or equivalent certification is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies.

Skills

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in business process modeling and data analysis.
  • Familiarity with project management software (e.g., JIRA, Trello).
  • Knowledge of SQL and database management.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
  • Expertise in creating functional specifications and business process diagrams.
  • Strong documentation and presentation skills.
  • Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.

Experience

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in an IT environment.
  • Proven experience working with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience in requirements gathering, analysis, and process optimization.
  • Experience in working on large-scale IT projects.
  • Experience working with data analytics and visualization tools.
  • Experience in liaising with stakeholders to understand business needs.
  • Familiarity with ERP, CRM, and other enterprise systems.
  • Previous experience in a client-facing role.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Liaise with stakeholders to gather and define project requirements.
  • Conduct gap analysis and propose IT solutions to meet business needs.
  • Document functional and technical specifications for software development.
  • Collaborate with developers, testers, and project managers to ensure alignment.
  • Assist in the development and optimization of business processes.
  • Analyze data to support decision-making processes.
  • Lead workshops and meetings to identify project objectives and outcomes.
  • Provide support during the implementation of IT solutions.
  • Conduct post-implementation reviews to assess the effectiveness of solutions.
  • Communicate progress to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From £53,000.00 per year
