We are currently recruiting for an IT Coordinator to join our IT and Digital Services team in a varied and exciting new role for an 18 month fixed-term hybrid post, based out of our Manchester office.At the Regulator of Social Housing (RSH), we are in a period of change and transformation, as from 1st April we have extended our remit, giving us additional powers and responsibilities around the importance of safe, decent homes for social housing tenants and of social housing landlords being transparent and accountable to their tenants. Job description
Working as a key part of our IT and Digital Services team you will support the team by providing flexible and high-quality, comprehensive administration support, assisting in facilitating the smooth and efficient running of services. You will coordinate and manage meetings, taking notes and maintaining logs of actions, developing strong working relationships with colleagues across RSH.You will manage the email inbox and will take responsibility for the coordination and resolution of IT issues, liaising between parties about any problem IT requests, coordinating the resolution and escalating where necessary. You will also support the Assistant Director of IT and Digital Services to develop and execute a schedule of security exercises to ensure robust IT security, following up any end-user queries.
Person specification
As our successful candidate you will have relevant previous administrative experience with excellent organisation and record keeping skills, with a strong eye for detail. You will have strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to draft communications and minutes clearly and to develop key working relationships.You will also have strong IT skills, with experience of using a range of Microsoft products and will have the ability to prioritise your own workload, managing competing demands.

Location
We operate a hybrid model of working with a mix of office and home working.
This role will be based out our Manchester office. Our Manchester office will be relocating during 2024/25, however will remain within the city centre. We offer a range of flexible working arrangements and staff can benefit from working from home for part of their hours.

The salary for this role is a spot salary within the given range, which will normally be the minimum of the range. There is no incremental progression through a pay scale. Annual salary reviews are determined by the government pay award. In addition, when the probation period is successfully completed, a performance related bonus may be awarded, based on appraisal ratings at the end of the qualifying appraisal year.
