The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients, providing a full range of accounting services, including financial statement preparation, tax compliance, and advisory services. Role Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Qualified Accountant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients, providing a full range of accounting services, including financial statement preparation, tax compliance, and advisory services. This role will also involve liaising with clients to provide expert advice and support on a variety of financial matters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Management:
Manage a diverse portfolio of clients, maintaining strong client relationships and providing exceptional customer service.
- Financial Statements Preparation:
Prepare statutory financial statements in compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Tax Compliance and Planning:
Prepare and review corporate and personal tax returns. Advise clients on tax-efficient strategies and ensure compliance with all tax regulations.
- Advisory Services:
Provide expert financial advice to clients, including cash flow management, budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
- Process Improvement:
Identify opportunities for process improvement, both internally and for clients, to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
- Mentoring and Training:
Assist in the training and development of junior team members, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Compliance and Regulation:
Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, regulations, and internal policies.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a chartered accountancy practice.
- Strong technical knowledge of UK GAAP, IFRS, and tax regulations.
- Proven experience in preparing financial statements and tax returns.
- Experience in managing a client portfolio is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero, ) and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Pay: £40,000.00-£60,000.00 per year
Expected hours: 14 – 37.5 per week
