What we are looking for

The Systems Administrator is a key position in The Marketing Practice’s IT department. This role involves building and implementing infrastructure to ensure business needs are met, networks are secure, systems are running optimally, and vital IT functions are monitored. Paying attention to every detail to ensure everything is up to date and running at maximum efficiency is crucial. The Systems Administrator acts as a bridge between Infrastructure and Service Delivery.

What you will do

  • Maintain and constantly improve TMP’s IAM & Infrastructure
  • Working with IT Service Delivery lead, monitor and maintain all IT Systems and ensuring they are stable and up to date.
  • Implement and maintain the network, working with the IT Service Delivery lead and vendors including multiple telecommunications providers in an international network over many time zones.
  • Work on hardware and software needed to maintain and strengthen security from the internet, network, and desktop.
  • Perform requests from the IT Service Delivery lead in a timely and conscientious way.
  • Help perform Capacity Management both for the short term and long term to maximize investment.
  • Perform Change Management with the Service Delivery group.
  • Work Hand in Hand with the IT Service Delivery lead to maintain and strengthen Global Policies, Maintain Keys, and all Licensing.
  • Maintain and ensure accuracy of all documentation relating to TMP’s Infrastructure.

Requirements

Who you are:

  • Attention to Detail – When the security and functionality of an entire IT infrastructure is on the line, you can’t afford to ignore the little things. Thus, you need to have a highly focused attention to detail.
  • Extensive Technical Knowledge – You will need to be intimately familiar with these technologies, all within a multinational environment:
      • Microsoft EntraID/Azure.
      • Managing Fortinet FortiGate for Firewall and VPN.
      • Managing WIFI and switches within Aruba Central
      • Familiar with Intune/JAMF
  • People Skills – it’s essential to have excellent people skills! You will be interacting with a team that is geo-diverse, so remote interaction skills would be highly preferred.
  • Certification – While experience is the most important factor, Microsoft Azure and Networking certifications such as CCNA, and ITIL would be favored.
  • Communication Skills – Stellar communication skills are necessary both within the team and with other business units. You must be able to speak in ‘English’ not just ‘IT’.
  • Ability to be hands-on and adaptable in a growing team environment.

What you will need:

  • Ideally, proven experience as a Systems Administrator in a medium-sized enterprise.
  • A comprehensive understanding of IT roles, ideally having progressed through various IT positions, including Service Desk.
