Marketing and Communications Manager
At Leybold North&East, part of Atlas Copco, our mission is to become the market leader in the countries and markets we serve. To do that, we need a Marketing and Communications Manager who can drive our story forward and inspire our audiences.
The role:
The mission of the Marketing and Communication Manager is to lead, coordinate and run communication and marketing activities across the Leybold EMEA North & East Customer Centre. There will be a focus on gaining new customers in different market segments, as well to drive employee engagement through using all types of marketing and communication tools with a focus on digital marketing.
This includes the responsibility for the structure and tools of internal and external communication and ensuring they are aligned to the strategic objectives of the Vacuum Technique divisions and brands. The role is open to hybrid working and can be offered 4 days (vs 5) days a week.
Key responsibilities include:
Strategy Development and Execution
- Develop and implement integrated marketing and communication strategies that support those Leybold N&E objectives across all regions, UK, Belgium, Netherlands, Ireland and Distributor regions.
Internal Presence - Building Passion and Pride
- Build collaboration, transparency, and interaction. Encourage employee engagement and loyalty within the Customer Centre and the Leybold brand.
- Set up and manage an internal communications program to develop a sense of community with aligned objectives amongst the Customer Centre team
- Develop internal communication strategies to ensure employees are informed about company news, initiatives and culture
- Management of appropriate tools, permissions and generate content to enable communications including SharePoint, Viva Engage, Email
- Partner with HR on employee engagement activities and comms support
- Enable the BLMs in the communication of their business strategies
- Support the culture team with activities and events with focus on WELLNESS: VOICE: GROWTH: LEADERSHIP
- Inclusion & Diversity for the CC, supporting HR & Reporting to the division.
- Management and promotion of the ACMS and SharePoint sites for the management of our processes
Marketing Presence - Strengthening Our Brand
- Drive Website and Social Media Presence with a Program of Targeted Events, Campaigns and Promotions.
- Responsible for keeping the websites up to date, with correct contact information and localized campaigns and messaging
- Act as a brand steward, implementing the brand promise and upholding brand identity and consistency in all projects, including correct branding of our premises, vehicles and use of our brand by our partners and reps
- Manage and coordinate exhibitions to support the business lines as budget permits
- Publish website content & success stories from business lines
- Drive social media consistent presence via Sprout Social and Advocacy
- Distributors & Agents:
- Providing the right tools and content to cascade our message. Build engagement and value in the brand.
- Support the D&A team in providing campaign material which can be used for local engagement
Lead Generation and Compaigns - Driving Growth
- Identifying new opportunities/markets/leads and re-engage with existing/lapse customers.
- Work with the BLMs and divisional teams to identify lead opportunities and campaigns
- Utilize HubSpot for email nurture campaigns and automation workflows
- Support the launch and implementation of ecommerce initiatives
- Use of C4C campaigns for the generation and management of leads and opportunities
- Promote and support Showpad
Leading with Purpose
- Lead, coach and mentor the L4 Marketing Executive apprentice
To succeed you will need:
- Knowledge and understanding of sales and marketing, digital marketing tools; Showpad, Sprout
- Professional qualification in Marketing or adequate knowledge through experience.
- Basic skills in Creative Suites (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator), web publishing tools and social media.
- Excellent skills in MS Office; PPT, Word, Excel. Experience of CRM C4C systems preferred.
