THE OPPORTUNITY

Are you passionate about IT and ready to make a meaningful impact?

We’re looking for a motivated IT Business Analyst to join our team and be at the forefront of optimising our IT systems. In this role, you’ll use your expertise in Microsoft technologies and IT systems to streamline operations and drive innovation.

You’ll work closely with various departments across the business, effectively handling IT requests, develop strategies to boost overall efficiency and implement best practices. A key part of your role will be conducting regular system audits to ensure compliance, security, and optimal performance.

You will be based at our Head Office in Banbury, Oxfordshire, with the opportunity to work from home 2 days per week on average dependent on business needs.

HOW YOU'LL CONTRIBUTE

  • Managing and resolving daily IT support requests in a timely manner.
  • Identifying weaknesses and areas for improvement within the IT infrastructure.
  • Utilising Microsoft technologies to enhance business processes.
  • Developing and implementing best practices for IT system use and management.
  • Conducting regular system audits to ensure compliance, security, and efficiency.
  • Providing support and guidance for IT-related projects and initiatives.
  • Liaising with third-party vendors for support and issue resolution.
  • Documenting IT processes, configurations, and changes clearly and thoroughly.
  • Supporting key business processes with in-depth knowledge of applications and integrations.
  • Planning and executing IT projects, clearly identifying requirements and lead in the execution.
  • Supporting with IT security, offering advice and supporting to keep the business safe by taking a proactive approach to IT security.
  • Overseeing the design, implementation, and maintenance of the organisation's network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
Promoting innovation by researching and implementing new technologies that improve IT and business processes.


THE TALENT YOU'LL BRING

  • Extensive experience with Microsoft technologies, including Windows, Office 365.
  • Ability to identify and address weaknesses and areas for improvement within IT systems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills across all levels, with the ability to explain technical issues in non-technical terms.
  • Strong general IT skills, with the ability to diagnose hardware or software issues and troubleshoot or teach troubleshooting methods.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of business processes and IT infrastructure management.
  • Experience in network management, including setup, configuration, and troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of network security best practices and performance optimisation techniques.
  • Ability to stay updated with the latest IT trends and technologies.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Experience in developing and implementing IT policies and procedures


    PERFECTLY PACKAGED

    • A salary of £35,000 per annum
    • 25 days holiday rising to 27 with length of service, plus bank holiday
