Over the last 25 years, Ribeye have built a global reputation for designing, engineering, and manufacturing the finest RIBs and superyacht tenders and the team is growing!

Ribeye Boats are currently looking for a Project Coordinator to join our growing company. With exponential growth and more demand for custom tender builds, Ribeye Boats requires someone who can coordinate and support the build process for custom projects whilst also being flexible and hands on when required.

The purpose of the Project Coordinator is to be a central cog between the Engineering and Production teams, while providing accurate stock & cost information for Finance. You will be assigned your own individual projects to work on with dedicated project Design Engineers and will be providing support to them in ensuring the project is fulfilled in a timely manner.

Your Duties will include:

  • Organise project tasks in priority order alongside the relevant Design Engineer(s).
  • Manage procurement activities to order the items required against the supplied Bill Of Materials (BoM).
  • Develop robust relationships with suppliers whilst implementing and maintaining procedures to improve operational flow.
  • Discussing and negotiating cost with suppliers and ensure deadlines are agreed and adhered to. Proactively chase suppliers if there are any concerns.
  • Ensure that each function (Engineering and Production) has the right information and resources ahead of each phase of the project to negate any delays.
  • You will work closely with all our teams and our suppliers to keep the project running smoothly.
  • Help maintain a pleasant work environment, ensuring high levels of organizational effectiveness, communication and safe performance across the company.
  • Provide assistance with the creation of Project Plans for communication and control throughout each project.
  • Ensure timely Order Status reporting by keeping the tracker up to date and any issues are addressed quickly.
  • Liaise with all departments to coordinate builds from conception to delivery.

Skills required:

  • Two or more years working in a project coordinator capacity
  • Experience of working with a purchasing and/or design team
  • Must be competent with Project Management Software and reporting tools i.e. status reporting, risks and issues escalation, milestone reporting etc.
  • Strong time-management and people skills, high degree of flexibility, and excellent multitasking ability.
  • Team player who uses strong communication skills, active listening in order to develop and maintain consistent credibility with all colleagues
