This Senior Marketing Executive role is responsible for driving campaigns and marketing activity. This includes producing content for ey.com and LinkedIn and managing and influencing stakeholders within the business. This would be a full-time role based in the Canary Wharf office (with an expectation to be in the office 2-3 days per week).
The role would suit someone with experience in a professional services/ financial services environment who has previous experience in managing campaigns with a focus on content.
Your key responsibilities
- Proofread and copyedit articles and other pieces of go-to-market content in line with EY writing guidelines before submitting to our content approval database (SCORE). Be responsible for managing the process onto ey.com post-approval.
- Write social media posts, edit posts and blogs to support marketing activity and advise stakeholders on their content.
- Be able to manage a range of events (virtual, hybrid, in person) reporting into various stakeholders. This includes working on all logistical elements of the event from planning to delivery - including preparing materials on behalf of the business (e.g. agenda, talk track, presenter notes, ppt. presentations and guidance documents) in-line with EY branding.
- Support UK FS priority campaigns, which involves working with campaign leads to plan and deliver a range of activity in-line with business objectives. (e.g. setting timelines, managing processes, tracking, analysing, and reporting).
- Work as part of the wider marketing team to share knowledge and best practice.
- Be confident to advise your stakeholders on risk and independence restrictions – often flagging these and other issues in advance with suggested solutions.
- Ensure the delivery of activity is on time and within budget.
- Capture ROI on all activity.
- Ensure CRM tools are used consistently and championed.
- Coordinate between BMC functions outside of marketing e.g. internal communications, brand and press across campaigns and programme activity.
- Work closely with your marketing peers to help at in person and virtual events, sometimes outside of your core hours.
Skills and attributes for success
- Demonstrated capability in managing content and distributing through various channels with effective ROMI.
- Experience in writing social media posts with little input from managers.
- Experience in copy editing and proof reading others’ work.
- Demonstrated experience in managing and running events both virtual and in person.
To qualify for the role you must have
- A minimum of 6 years marketing experience.
- Ability to managing projects and budgets.
- CIM qualified or a Bachelor’s degree, preferably in marketing or communications.
- Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and database management (Marketo is a plus)
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and juggle numerous commitments at any one time whilst ensuring attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- Excellent project management skills and experience of working with CRM systems
