About the company

Treeview Developments (South East) Ltd is a construction company specialising in extensions and new builds. In April 2023, the business acquired a bespoke shed manufacturing company in Kent. The Shed Factory has been established for 30+ years. The director is looking to improve and grow the business and it is an exciting opportunity to become part of the team to make this happen. The business is also expanding by providing luxury garden rooms and innovative ground screw bases.

The role will be based at our show site in Bat & Ball Sevenoaks. We are in the process of revamping the site and building a brand-new show site office which will be an advertisement for the garden rooms.

Job brief

We are looking for a Sales and Marketing person to join our team and help us achieve our goals. You will serve as a first point of contact for customers with queries about products, orders and deliveries. However also need to have a good understanding of marketing to improve sales and reach targets. Our ideal candidate is goal-oriented and demonstrates customer service best practices.

If you have exceptional customer service skills and draw energy from being part of a growing company this may be the role for you. You should also be organised and efficient and can work well on your own as well as in a team.

Responsibilities

  • Greet potential customers who visit our show site and provide them with information/quotations with the goal of getting them to through to purchase.
  • Process orders via email, phone and face-to-face.
  • Raise orders and invoices on the system – currently shopify.
  • Contact clients to process payments and schedule delivery dates.
  • Liaise with the workshop department to ensure order details are clear for manufacturing and made in time for scheduled delivery dates.
  • Maintain and update sales and customer records.
  • Develop weekly sales reports.
  • Contact clients for google reviews.
  • Communicate important feedback from customers internally.
  • Stay up to date with new products and features.
  • Creating and amending web pages (WordPress/Shopify) to keep the website up to date with the latest products and company information
  • To update and maintain professional images of our products to enhance our ecommerce sales
  • To maintain our digital and printed company documents to improve the information available to customers about our products
  • To create and post relevant content across Social Media platforms to help us communicate with existing and reach new core customers
  • To create e-mail marketing messages and material to support the sales strategy for growth
  • When required, collaborate with the MDs to produce content
  • Identify new content opportunities and explore ways to repurpose existing content
  • Ensuring all written and visual content is aligned to our marketing and sales strategy to create cohesion between sales and marketing activities
  • Utilise content management system and google analytics to analyse website traffic, engagement metrics and success of advertising articles
  • Assess effectiveness of digital marketing activity and bring in new ideas for lead generation

Requirements and skill

  • Proven experience following a structured sales process and compiling quotations.
  • Great phone manner and has experience selling
  • Experience creating a wide range of content and distributing content across a range of platforms
  • Some experience with Wordpress or Shopify (currently using shopify but new WordPress website is coming soon).

  • Excellent organisational and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to grasp information quickly and be comfortable discussing dimensions & material properties, product applications etc.

Full time salary £28,000 - £30,000 depending on experience plus performance bonus structure
