Part-time Marketer

Summary
Marketing is at the core of the business and is responsible for increasing The Brew’s visibility, engaging potential customers, and driving sales.
You’ll be collaborating on the concept, development, and implementation of marketing plans and promotional programmes and ensuring that the corporate brand is consistent across all marketing initiatives and campaigns.
You’ll be at home working with all core marketing disciplines (where relevant), including web-based content, content marketing, copywriting, print, multi-media, digital, social media, direct marketing, promotional marketing, project and supplier management, and marketing planning to deliver engaging campaigns.
How we communicate with our members and target audience is at the heart of The Brew, so you’ll be the type of person who excels at crafting compelling copy for various marketing materials whether that’s brochures, press releases, website content, blog articles, social media posts or newsletters – that resonate with the target audience. Creating a brand narrative and using storytelling techniques to communicate to target audiences is second nature to you.
For this role, at least two years of prior experience as a Marketing Executive is essential.

key Responsibilities
- Develop and ensure marketing plans are executed according to the project timeline
- Collaborate with the Chief Executive to monitor expenditure and to adhere to budgets
- Manage and oversee our marketing campaigns to build an audience across multiple channels, including social media, email, and SEO/SEM (working with our agencies where relevant)
- Track and evaluate campaign performance using diverse metrics and data analytics across social media, web, PPC and CRM, and provide weekly/monthly performance reports
- Evaluate and review marketing campaigns, advertising and SEO to ensure the correct mediums are being used to increase awareness and drive sales and that campaigns are effective and provide a return on investment
- Analyse market behaviour, monitor competitor activity and brainstorm potential improvements or changes in marketing approach for more effective results
- Develop new marketing initiatives such as partnerships, events or crossover collaborations to strengthen engagement with our target audiences
- Ensure the maintenance and upkeep of The Brew’s website to ensure content is relevant and enhances the user experience (working with our agency where relevant)
- Produce, manage and oversee the production of engaging content for diverse marketing distributions (brochures, press releases, website, blogs, videos etc.)
- Create effective email campaigns that engage members, subscribers, promote offerings, generate leads and drive conversions
- Initiate and oversee surveys to gauge customer needs and loyalty
- Update the customer database, communicate with and build relationships with members to increase retention
- Help other team members with writing projects such as proofreading and inputting ideas that strengthen communication
- Develop relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
- Coordinate with our sales team to align marketing plans with sales objectives
- Develop relationships with and work alongside internal or external teams, marketing agencies, suppliers, and contractors to effectively promote The Brew
Job Requirements
- Proven experience in marketing
- Excellent writing skills with accurate and robust proofreading abilities (particularly concerning grammar) and a creative flair with words and expressions to write copy that pops
- Solid research skills with a good understanding of market research techniques, data analysis and statistics methods
- Good knowledge of marketing best practices
- Proficient in MS Office and hands-on experience using a range of marketing software, tools and platforms
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Strong organisational, detail-oriented and time-management abilities
- Creativity and commercial awareness
- Respect for people and ideas
- Flexible approach and the ability to combine different marketing techniques
- A high standard of written English to produce engaging copy
- Experience in using metrics for reporting and performance purposes
- Solid project management skills and the ability to oversee multiple campaigns simultaneously
