We’re hiring for a Junior Marketing Analyst as part of dentsu in London, Leeds, Manchester or Edinburgh Purpose of the Role As a junior analyst you will be introduced to the world of marketing measurement & effectiveness through on-the-job training as well as our comprehensive training program. You’ll be part of our industry-leading data & technology department. You will be spending your days analysing data from different marketing platforms as well as client data using our proprietary tools & processes, to create actionable insights that enhance clients’ marketing strategies. You will utilise media mix modelling, controlled media testing & experimentation and advanced modelling techniques to forecast KPIs and optimise a client’s channel mix. In this role you will eventually utilise R & Python as well as SQL for effective data processing and have the opportunity to eventually specialise in the technical elements of data analytics (data science). In this role you will be working as part of a team on different clients and support the delivery of our services across a wide range of industries.

- Supporting all steps of our project delivery from data collection, processing, analysis and presentation of results.
- Learning and applying how to run marketing experiments to understand the incremental value of marketing towards business objectives.
- Learning and applying how to create media mix models and how to use them to optimise media budgets for our clients using our proprietary technology.
- Industry trend awareness and supporting clients to act appropriately for example regarding 1st party data.
- A passion for marketing and an enthusiasm to use data to help enhance the performance of marketing campaigns.
- Either previous work experience, a relevant apprenticeship or a degree from an accredited college or university in Mathematics, Economics or similar.
- A curious mind-set with the ability to learn new concepts fast
- The ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience using statistical analysis and regression techniques
- Experience with SQL, R or Python
- This is a permanent role in a growing team
