Overview
We are seeking a skilled IT Technician to join our team in providing technical support and assistance to our staff. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computer networking, technical support, and customer service.
Responsibilities
- Provide IT support to staff members on hardware and software issues
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems related to Windows and Mac OS
- Assist in managing help desk requests and escalating issues as needed
- Maintain and configure computer hardware and peripherals
- Set up and maintain LAN networks
- Utilise Jira or similar tools for issue tracking
Experience
The successful candidate should possess:
- Proven experience in customer service and technical support roles
- Strong knowledge of computer networking principles
- Familiarity with Windows and Mac OS environments
- Proficiency in diagnosing and resolving IT issues
- Experience with Jira or similar help desk software is advantageous
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £26,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
