At the core of every business lies finance, shaping operational and commercial strategies based on quality data. The Retail Insight finance team plays a central role in this mission, aiming to equip the business with the tools and knowledge for effective decision-making. We are seeking a proactive and experience Management Accountant to come on board for 6 months and help us to achieve our goals.

What will you do?
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual management accounts for multiple countries and holding companies. (US, Australia, Netherlands)
  • Maintain fixed asset registers, prepayments, accruals, intercompany transactions, and post journals.
  • Oversee and ensure accurate bookkeeping, trial balances, and P&L reconciliations, including intercompany and payroll.
  • Review and approve weekly payment runs, manage cash requirements, and liaise with external accountants.
  • Support Finance Associates, contribute to year-end and audit processes, and participate in cross-functional projects.

Our ideal candidate...

  • Has proven experience working as Management Accountant.
  • Part-qualified Accountant CIMA/ACCA/ACA or equivalent by experience.
  • Good understanding of Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience in US / AUS payroll is highly advantageous, but not essential.
  • Experience using Netsuite is advantageous, but not essential.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work closely with other departments.
  • Positive attitude, flexible and team player.
  • Highly driven and motivated, with an eye for continuous improvement.
  • Organised with excellent attention to detail.
