We are seeking to recruit a Senior Accountancy Assistant within the Treasury section of the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham Finance Team. You will report to the Senior Treasury Accountant.
The Council operates a dispersed working model. The primary work setting for the role will be remote working. Interviews will be held virtually for the successfully shortlisted candidates.Please see attached job description for more details. About you
Our ideal candidate will have experience of providing financial support in large complex organisations.
In addition to this, the successful candidate will need to be proficient in MS Excel, and have the ability to build strong relationships across the organisation and with external partners. Good communication and organisational skills are essential.
