Engineering Labourer/Driver

We are looking for an Engineering Labourer/Driver to join our team – The role is mainly based at our site in Ellesemere Port but will occasionally involve working off-site elsewhere in the UK.
Your role will involve keeping the shop floor clean and tidy, complete basic engineering tasks, put tools and consumables away after use, clean canteen and toilet areas, prep items for dispatch, keep vehicle fleet clean and help out with all forms of production where possible.
An engineering background would be beneficial but not essential, and you must be highly motivated and have the ability to work in a team. A full UK clean driving license is needed.
JOB SKILLS
Variety of semi-skilled shop floor tasks in order to maintain efficient workflow.
Loading and unloading delivery vehicles, checking goods in/out.
Help load and run the machines (with supervision of a machinist).
Deburring, finishing and polishing of finished machined parts.
Deliver parts to customers using the works vehicle fleet.
General housekeeping of the workshop and yard.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £23,000.00-£27,000.00 per year
