Job Description.

Boston Hale is currently working with one of London's largest charitable housing associations who are looking to recruit a Qualified Accountant.

Daily Duties

  • Ensure timely and accurate preparation of the organisations monthly and quarterly statutory and management reports
  • Full responsibility for the annual production of income and expenditure and balance sheet notes with supporting schedule and interpretations
  • Provide strategic insight and support the senior leaders in making financial assessments and business plans
  • Produce income and expenditure budgets for periodic review
  • Maintain the chart of accounts ensuring regular updates across the group
  • Support the finance business partners and heads of service to ensure accurate and timely delivery of the monthly control account reconciliations

Required experience:

  • Fully qualified (ACCA, CIMA, CIPA, ACA)
  • Prior experience of management or financial accounting in a large organisation
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage with internal and external stakeholders.
  • A strategic thinker with the ability to provide expert technical knowledge
