What we’re looking for…

… a Revenue Manager to join the team in the Head Office near Chancery Lane, Central London. Working across all UK hotels, we need someone who is obsessively analytical, has an affinity with numbers, and can deliver a mean spreadsheet.

Reporting to the Head of Revenue & Distribution and Commercial Director, we’re looking for someone to assist in implementing, executing, and reporting on the overall sales and revenue strategy for the group.

Working closely with reception and reservation teams, the role maximises revenue at all opportunities by proactively evaluating current and developing market trends, continually developing the right market mix, and setting appropriate pricing and yield strategies in line with revenue management best practices.

Key Responsibilities

- To work closely with the Head of Revenue and Distribution to further develop the revenue strategy across the UK for the entire portfolio. Current locations include London (4 aparthotels), Manchester and Brighton with Leeds, York, and Edinburgh due to open late 2024 / early 2025.

- Monitor in-depth market performance by using STR, Forward Star, and OTA Insights.

- Update RMS and PMS to ensure our properties are competitive and achieving KPIs.

- Review daily and weekly pick up and implement restrictions and pricing amendments to maximise revenue and occupancy potential.

- Lead / Support bi-weekly revenue calls with the wider commercial team and Area GM’s.

- Maintenance of PMS and key operating systems including third-party extranets.

- Responsible for managing OTA partners and accounts to improve content and rate performance.

- Creation and Distribution of daily, weekly, and monthly revenue reports to relevant stakeholders.

- Development of new reporting techniques or systems to assist senior leadership team in assessing key decisions.

- Maintain and maximise potential from key events calendar across all locations.

- Manage the onboarding of new properties within the revenue function, including set-up of all systems i.e. PMS (Opera), RMS (Atomize), and SiteMinder (Channel Manager).

- To comply with all relevant internal rules, policies, and procedures, including those relating to Health and Safety, Data Protection, etc., and all those contained within the issued Team Handbook.

- To support the wider commercial team as required during peak periods.

Requirements:

- GCSE English Language and Maths or equivalent.

- A-Level education or equivalent experience.

- Revenue Management experience essential within luxury hotel or serviced apartment sector. Previous experience of the London, Manchester, Brighton, Leeds, York, Edinburgh market a benefit.

- Knowledge of revenue management principles and strategies, including distribution channel management, yield management, extended stay concepts, pricing strategy, market trends, demand factors, and forecasting.

- Experience and/or understanding of multi-property revenue management.

- Advanced Microsoft Excel knowledge.

- Knowledge of Opera PMS both front of house and configuration level.

- Knowledge of channel management software Siteminder, GDS Systems, and managing OTA Extranets.

- Enjoys working in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment with high levels of autonomy.

- Excels at creating and maintaining positive and productive working relationships across the business.

- Strong organizational skills.

- A keen eye for detail and a strong analytical approach.

Package:

- Salary: £DOE

- Hours: Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm (hybrid role based between London and home office)

- Holiday: 28 days inclusive of bank holidays
