We are looking for a passionate and client focused Assistant Director of Finance to join our incredible Finance team at Pan Pacific London. You show confidence, empathy and professionalism when dealing with guests, clients and associates alike. If you are dedicated to providing exceptional care while demonstrating strong leadership and attention to detail in your work and you put people at the heart of every decision you make, then we would love to hear from you.
JOB SUMMARY
As an Assistant Director of Finance, your tasks will include but not be limited to:
- To assist the Director of Finance to direct all the hotel’s financial activities and supervise the section heads’ work such as general ledger, credit control, fixed assets, cashiering and income audit.
- To prepare monthly profit & loss account and balance sheet reconciliations as required by Corporate Office and management on timely manner
- To ensure that the hotel’s collections are fully accounted for and all sales receipts banked into the bank accounts within the established policy.
- To monitor cash flow of the hotel and take appropriate actions when required.
- To ensure hotel operational accounting is up to date
- To monitor hotel’s expenses, ensuring that they are within budget and informing the relevant management for follow-up actions.
- Submission of VAT, PAYE and pension contributions on regular basis, reviewed by Director of Finance.
- To ensure compliance of corporate and local SOP and policies and procedures
KEY ATTRIBUTES
Strong leadership skills with a passion for developing your team- Previous experience working in a fully self-accounting property
- Good working knowledge of SAP
