Marketing Manager Full Time

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Marketing Manager to join our central team. Thesleff Group operate Los Mochis restaurant in Notting Hill and The City, Sale e Pepe in Knightsbridge and Viajante87 cocktail bar and lounge in Notting Hill.

The role:

The marketing manager will report to the Chief Marketing Officer to support and oversee the group and brand’s marketing strategy, planning, and initiatives and guide the group from inception to execution as the group prepares for its next stage of global expansion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver the agreed communications strategy with the CMO for the group and the individual brands to budget and deadline.
  • Define the critical path and budget to ensure communications programmes are delivered on time and to budget
  • Manage the PR agencies and ensure the execution of a well-planned strategy across all key target markets
  • Ensure communications activity achieves high level and qualitative media coverage and positive impact on target audiences
  • Report PR activities and VIP endorsement programs
  • Negotiate and coordinate all marketing activity with key titles, concierge groups, publishers and venue partners
  • Work closely with the Events team for all marketing and PR-related events
  • Develop market/trend analysis as well as monitor competition with a clear focus on Digital communications to refine the brand positioning
  • Follow business objectives and priorities to create clear, written briefs with defined targets and goals to support the business at all levels

Requirements:

  • Hospitality and lifestyle experience essential
  • Minimum 7-10 years marketing experience either in-house or agency
  • Degree level education
  • A wide experience in brand strategy, communication, brand development, consumer insight and market research, with proven successes, ideally globally
  • A 360-marketing approach preferred across all marketing channels across all digital platforms
  • Excellent organisational analytical skills
  • Ability to deal with all levels of staff and inspire confidence and respect
  • Excellent hosting skills to represent the brands on individual and group level
    • Experience or understanding of managing external Media or PR agencies
  • The ability to multi-task and deliver, even when under pressure
  • Self-motivated and enthusiastic
  • Excellent presentation and written skills
  • In-depth knowledge of the luxury lifestyle and London hospitality market
  • Positive, entrepreneurial spirit, a “doer” and approachable attitude
