You’ll be joining this exciting journey at the start of our scale-up phase, and work with us to hit the ambitious targets our shareholders have set. About the role You will be responsible for the growth in recognition of Believ as a partner to work with, a network to use and a brand to work for. This role will identify and make imaginative use of core marketing techniques, including white papers, seminars, digital marketing, social media, events and other activities, to drive business success. You will be responsible for leading our talented marketing team, and developing and executing marketing strategies to drive growth three core areas: Brand, Network and Consumer. You will work closely with key internal stakeholders to ensure our marketing and communications activity proactively supports Believ's ambitious growth plans, initiating marketing campaigns, supporting business sectors effectively in communicating offers, digital marketing activities, events and lead generation. You will be responsible for managing a significant marketing budget, monitoring spend and impact, to continually inform and refine the strategy going forwards. This role will engage closely with the sales and commercial teams to ensure they are provided with an excellent platform from which to drive leads and grow the sales pipeline. Responsibilities: Client Marketing and Sales Support:
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop and execute marketing campaigns that promote Believ's B2G, B2B and Property propositions.
  • Plan and manage events, virtual engagements, and digital marketing initiatives to support sales objectives.
  • Create compelling sales collateral, presentations, and promotional materials.
  • You will develop and maintain an Account Based Marketing programme, in order to drive pre-qualified leads into the B2B and property teams. This will be the key driver of leads into the business and should encompass a wide range of the marketing mix, including email, social media, DM, events, webinars etc.
  • You will establish a best-in-class digital marketing strategy, including social media and digital advertising strategies, Search Engine Optimisation and social media.
  • You will work closely with counterparts within Liberty Global, Virgin Media and Zouk as required to utilise relevant resources, experience and channels to market.
  • Explore new opportunities, channels and tactics to support Believ’s growth through clients.
Consumer Marketing:
  • Develop and implement consumer marketing strategies to increase charger utilisation and enhance customer loyalty.
  • Oversee messaging and communications to ensure consistent, impactful, and engaging content across all channels.
  • Utilise data and insights to refine marketing tactics and improve customer engagement.
Brand Management:
  • Grow the awareness of Believ, including among all target audiences to become known, trusted, and CPO of choice. Brand awareness will be tracked vs competitors through the FAB tool.
  • Lead Believ PR, working closely with the senior leadership team and other key stakeholders to shape messaging.
  • You will be the company custodian of the brand, ensuring that internally and with agencies it is being used in accordance with brand guidelines and externally that awareness is increasing.
  • Lead efforts to promote, maintain, and continually refine Believ's brand identity and positioning.
  • Ensure brand consistency across all marketing materials and touchpoints.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to inform brand strategy and innovation.

  • Work effectively with and support other departments to facilitate their activities
  • Design and implement appropriate measures for success, and report on weekly, monthly and quarterly bases.

The successful candidate will have the following attributes and skills: Qualifications and Experience
  • 10 years of experience in marketing in a relevant sector, or fewer if in the EV charging sector specifically
  • 5 years experience in a relevant people leadership role, or fewer if in the EV charging sector specifically
  • Relevant degree and relevant post-graduate training and/or qualifications (Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field) preferred but not essential.
  • Proven experience in the EV or related industry, with a strong understanding of the market dynamics and consumer behaviour, as well as SME environments.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing integrated marketing strategies, and execution within relevant commercial B2G & B2B businesses.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
  • Measurable experience in a sales and bidding environment in the EV charging sector, both B2B and B2G, as well as EV related B2C experience, would be beneficial.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects, always maintaining an excellent standard of work
  • Personable with demonstrable track record of developing key business relationships
  • Adaptable, with a hands-on, can-do attitude

Location The business is currently based in our head offices in Southwark, with a further office in Leeds.
