Relief Security Officer Full Time

About the role

Join our team as a Security Officer and play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of individuals and property within your assigned area. As a vigilant observer, you will report activities and incidents at the client site, utilising tools such as wands and metal detectors. With a focus on service enhancement and ongoing training, you will contribute to maintaining a secure environment. This position requires: Shift Pattern: Thursday and Friday (plus holiday cover)
  • 24 - 30 hours per week

Job Description

  • Prevent and deter unauthorised access to the site
  • Working front-of-house reception
  • Organising ID cards
  • Escorting visitors around the site
  • Monitor fire alarms, intruder alarms and CCTV as appropriate
  • Conduct external and internal security patrols as detailed in the Assignment Instructions
  • Ensure any equipment provided by the customer and Securitas is managed according to established procedures
  • Maintain all logbooks and records and issue visitor/contractor passes, and handle lost property in accordance with the Assignment Instructions

Essential Skills

  • SIA Licence
  • Experience with front-of-house/reception
  • work well with people
  • Access to vehicle/good transport links
  • 2yr Security Experience - Prior experience as a Security Officer in the Security industry is desirable
  • Must have a 5yr checkable history
  • The ability to embody and uphold the Securitas core values of Integrity, Vigilance and Helpfulness.
  • IT literate
