Team Leader Personalised Care Brokerage Full Time

Royal Greenwich Commissioning are looking for a skilled and experienced team leader to oversee and manage the Personalised care brokerage team, part of Personalised Care & Support and HAS Financial Services.

The right candidate will lead, develop, and manage the Personalised care brokerage team (up to 20 staff) and be responsible for the recruitment, training and development of staff. Duties will also include rota management, ensuring work is allocated appropriately and completed to high quality standards; establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders across various teams.

We are looking for a strong candidate who will contribute to the development of the market for people accessing care and support options including accommodation-based and community-based support, self-directed support, including micro-enterprises and co-operatives.


Among other duties, the right person will also work closely with Integrated Commissioning, HAS, ICB and corporate Finance colleagues; attend and contribute to strategic and operational meetings within the department and outside. The postholder will also be required to stay abreast of changes in law, policy, and good practice in relation to the Care Act and other relevant Health and Care and financial legislation, and promote the Care Brokerage Team within and outside of Health & Adults Services and with ICB and other partners. They will be committed to ensuring good practice is shared with colleagues and success stories are shared where possible, showing strength-based personalised care is achievable and promotes positive outcomes

This is a hybrid position – a combination of a few days in the office during the week, and a few days of remote work. Working pattern to be agreed.
