NG Bailey Facilities Services are currently recruiting for a Building Services Engineer (Electrician) to join a prestigious new contract in the London Bridge area, delivering reactive and planned mechanical, electrical and building fabric maintenance for one of the world’s biggest financial and professional services institutions.
The Building Services Engineer (Electrician) will provide proactive technical ‘hands on’ support as part of a dedicated team of Technicians, carrying our routine PPM, Compliance and reactive tasks, whilst providing an effective customer interface to the Client and their Service Partners, to ensure a high standard of both service delivery and customer care to all building staff and stakeholders within a true ‘One Team’ culture. The successful candidate with also engage with our specialist contractors, ensuring adherence to NG Bailey Facilities Services systems and procedures, health and safety, quality assurance and statutory compliance.

We are looking for an experienced, innovative and energetic engineer, with demonstrable experience of working withina highly focused team of engineers / shift engineers in a building services environment, carrying out PPM's in line with SFG20 or equivalent with advanced fault finding diagnostic experience.

Some of the key deliverables in this role will include:
- Undertake PPM, Compliance and Reactive tasks to meet defined contract metrics (KPI/SLA) in line with agreed contractual responsibilities.
- Update CAFM systems using modern technology methods
- Work to risk assessments/method statements in line with relevant safety legislation and NG Bailey Health and Safety systems and procedures
- Manage, focus, and drive specialist supply chain partners for efficiency, technical excellence, and opportunity for providing added value in their service delivery through local engagement
- Become part of OOH support / escalation as required (rota)
- Maintain premises to an exceptionally high standard
- To ensure that all applicable site documentation is kept up to date as this will be regularly audited either by internal or external parties.

- Capable of delivering Reactive Repairs and Small Projects, including ‘hands on’ support
- Be a confident, effective communicator
- Experienced in Statutory & Mandatory Compliance Maintenance Records / Certification requirements and uploading onto Service Systems.
- City and Guilds Qualifications or above covering Electrical/Mechanical or Multi-Skilled – Other formal qualifications also considered.
- Safe systems of Work Procedure - PTW, RAMS, etc.
