Nunn Hayward are a Chartered Accountancy firm based in Gerrards Cross, South Bucks, providing high quality tax and financial advice to a broad range of clients.

We are currently looking for a professional and talented Corporate Tax Manager to be part of our growing and dynamic firm.

This position will be most suited to someone who thrives under challenge, is delivery focused, enjoys accountability and has a ‘can-do’ attitude.

You will be responsible for a growing portfolio of Corporate/Business tax clients and assisting Partners with ad-hoc tax work. You will also be willing to carry out accounts work whilst the portfolio grows.

Responsibilities include:

• Audit Corporate Tax reviews for all audit clients
• R&D good working knowledge to become the firm’s specialist in due course and supporting clients with their ongoing needs
• Corporate Tax restructuring and Tax due diligence to support Partners and clients on an ad hoc basis
• Assisting with the preparation of Research and Development Tax Credit claims
• Identifying planning and advisory opportunities
• Dealing with ad hoc queries from the wider firm when required
• EIS/SEIS advanced assurance on qualifying trade and the new KIC status, completion of EIS 1, 2 and 3 forms process
• Enterprise Management Incentive (EMI) planning, advance assurance and reporting
• ATED in year notification and year end reporting
• Deferred tax, acting as firms go to specialist
• VAT assisting with technical queries and implications of corporate restructures

Ideal requirements and qualifications:

• ATT/CTA qualified or working towards
• Corporate/Business tax compliance experience
• Some advisory knowledge and experience in identifying advisory opportunities and develop business.
• Excellent communication skills (in both verbal and written forms). Providing clients with an outstanding level of customer service.
• Flexible team worker with both colleagues, Directors and Partners with a good understanding of the Nunn Hayward values.
• Ability to spot and implement tax planning
• The Partners are happy to mentor/coach if required.
