Tax Accountant - Full time office based
Essential
- AAT or ACCA qualified or working towards
- Previous experience in Tax rebates and self-assessment returns.
- Previous experience within an Accountant role including undertaking some of the responsibilities in the job description
- A methodical approach and strong problem-solving skills to solve financial reporting errors
- Strong mathematical skills for analysing numbers and performing calculations
- Excellent analytical skills to sift through lots of data and make accurate conclusions
- Ability to work directly with Directors of the Company
- Flexibility to work outside hours where required to meet the demands of the role
Desirable
- Previous experience in a Chartered Account role within a financial services firm
- A high level of computer literacy, including knowledge of relevant software applications, such as accounting packages
- Confident and strong minded
Job Purpose

Responsibilities
- Tax rebate and self assessment returns
- Communicate with Customer account team in India
- Liaising with HMRC. Assisting with security checks and client check
- Oversee the ongoing maintenance of accounts
- Reconcile accounts including receivable and payable
- Create financial forecasts
- General weekly bookkeeping of general accounts

Pay and Benefits
- Salary £30,000 - £45,000 depending on experience
