The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Marketing Manager to join our team and lead our marketing efforts. This role offers a unique opportunity to promote our expert restoration services and curated collection of exquisite Persian and Oriental rugs, while working with some of the most historically significant and beautiful textiles in the world.
Role Overview
As the Marketing Manager at Pazyryk Rugs, you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive marketing strategies to enhance our brand presence, drive sales of our meticulously restored rugs, and promote our expert restoration services. You will play a crucial role in sharing the stories of these timeless masterpieces and educating our audience about their historical and artistic value.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Marketing Leadership
- Develop and execute innovative marketing strategies aligned with our mission of preserving and sharing the legacy of Persian rugs
- Identify new business opportunities and create targeted campaigns for collectors, connoisseurs, and interior design enthusiasts
- Collaborate with the restoration team to highlight our unique expertise and craftsmanship in marketing materials
- Digital Marketing Excellence
- Manage and optimise our website, ensuring it showcases our restoration process and available rugs effectively
- Develop and implement a robust social media strategy to engage our audience and showcase our work
- Create and manage SEO and PPC campaigns to improve our online visibility and drive qualified traffic
Content Creation and Brand Storytelling
- Craft compelling narratives that highlight the historical significance and artistic value of our rugs
- Develop educational content about Persian rug history, craftsmanship, and care
- Create engaging multimedia content, including high-quality photography and videos of our restoration process and rug collection
Customer Relationship Management
- Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, interior designers, and antique dealers
- Develop and implement a CRM strategy to enhance customer engagement and loyalty
- Create personalised marketing campaigns based on customer preferences and buying history
Market Analysis and Reporting
- Conduct thorough market research to identify trends in the antique rug sector and restoration industry
- Analyse competitor strategies and propose unique selling propositions
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators, providing regular insights to the management team
Event Planning and Networking
- Organise exclusive exhibitions and events to showcase our restored rugs and sales collection
- Coordinate participation in relevant trade shows, auctions, and industry conferences
- Develop networking opportunities to build relationships with influencers in the art and interior design communities
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
- Proven experience (minimum 10 years) in marketing, preferably in the luxury goods, art, or restoration sectors
- Demonstrated expertise in digital marketing, including SEO, social media management, and email marketing
- Strong analytical skills with experience in data-driven marketing decision making
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in British English
- Proficiency in marketing tools such as Google Analytics, Adobe Creative Suite, and CRM systems
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
- A genuine passion for art history and appreciation for Persian and Oriental rugs

Pay: £48,000.00-£52,000.00 per year
