Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced IT Support Engineer with deep expertise in Juniper MX480 routers to join our dynamic IT support team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in network engineering and troubleshooting, specifically with Juniper MX480 hardware, and will be responsible for providing high-level technical support, resolving complex network issues, and ensuring optimal performance of our network infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Technical Support: Provide expert-level support and troubleshooting for Juniper MX480 routers and related network equipment.
• Configuration and Management: Assist with the configuration, deployment, and ongoing management of Juniper MX480 routers, including advanced features and functions.
• Issue Resolution: Diagnose and resolve complex network issues related to Juniper MX480 routers, including performance tuning, security concerns, and connectivity problems.
• Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation of network configurations, support processes, and troubleshooting steps.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other IT staff and departments to resolve cross-functional issues and contribute to the overall improvement of network infrastructure.
• Monitoring: Implement and oversee network monitoring tools and systems to proactively identify and address potential issues.
• Updates and Upgrades: Manage software updates, patches, and upgrades for Juniper MX480 routers, ensuring minimal disruption to network operations.
• Compliance: Ensure that all network activities comply with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in IT support or network engineering, with a focus on Juniper MX480 routers.
• Certifications: Juniper Networks Certified Internet Specialist (JNCIS) or equivalent certifications preferred. Other relevant certifications (e.g., CCNP) are a plus.
• Technical Skills: In-depth knowledge of Juniper MX480 router architecture, configuration, and troubleshooting. Proficiency in networking protocols (BGP, OSPF, MPLS, etc.) and network management tools.
• Problem-solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
• Teamwork: Proven ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team.
• Attention to Detail: High attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.

• Work Schedule: standard business hours, on-call requirements
